Upgrade Assessment Requirements

All upgrade candidates must be assessed using the diagonal system of control (a.k.a. 3-man system) with currently registered referees or assistant referees with US Soccer.

The assessment requirements for grade 7 candidates are as follows:
Passing the field assessment at a U17 game or higher as a referee (90-minute match).  You will be assigned an assessor with a target date of assessor assignment by April 30.  IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT THE ASSESSOR and PROVIDE A MATCH that meets the criteria of assessment.  Any concerns with the assessment process should be directed to the SDA for clarification. The assessor assignments will be posted here under the assessment tab.  Bottom line - you are picking the game and you will live or die by it.  Some have chosen an "easy" assignment and got burned because it did not meet the standard (i.e. not a sufficient test).
