Retrieving and Saving Your Game Experience

IT IS EVERY REFEREE'S PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO TRACK THEIR OWN GAME COUNT.
YOU MAY BE REQUIRED TO TURN THIS INFORMATION IN SHOULD YOU WANT TO UPGRADE!

As such, you are STRONGLY ADVISED to prepare your Match Experience Form to keep for your long term records.
There are two ways you can keep track of your games.

If you are very organized, the best and most complete way to do this is to track your games as they happen. To assist you with this task, the state referee committee has provided a form on which you can do this, either electronically or manually. You may also use a form of your own design as long as the information on your form matches what is on the forms below. The WNYSRA Game Experience form is available to download below in 3 formats, all of which may either be printed out and written on OR typed directly into. Here are the links for that form:
Adobe Acrobat Version Microsoft Word Version Microsoft Excel Version

If the majority of your matches were assigned to you in Arbiter (the assigning software used in most districts of WNYRA,) you can also retrieve your game experience at the end of each year by using that program. Once you have your printout of your match experience from Arbiter, somewhere on the sheet write the phrase "I certify that the information contained in this document is accurate" and then sign your name and print the date underneath. If you would like complete instructions on how to do this with pictures click How To Retrieve Your Game Experience from Arbiter

NOTE: Keep multiple copies of your game experience in separate safe places.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THIS INFORMATION.

REMEMBER:

Only USSF AFFILIATED GAMES COUNT. This includes tournament, league and recreational games for grade 8 referees moving to Grade 7. For higher level badges, only FULL LENGTH USSF affiliated matches count. High School and College matches DO NOT COUNT! Most indoor matches will not count. If you are not certain which games qualify in your area, contact your DRA or assignor!
