How to Become an Assignor

If you possess good people and organizational skills, you can become an assignor. Unlike the other positions on the referee side of USSF, you do not need to be a referee in order to assign.

Western New York only holds assignor classes on a needs basis, but they are available in other states if a candidate wishes to travel to complete the class. When assignor classes are available, they will be posted below. If a candidate wishes to take one of the classes out of state, we recommend that they contact John Kramer, the State Director of Assignors before making arrangements since a local class may be in planning.

The requirements to become an assignor are attendence in the 8 hour Entry Level Assignor Certification class which is typically held on one day and a minimum age of 18 years old.
